===Assembly Distinctives===
Though the term has taken on some theological nuance over time, the term  used by Harold Mackay in his booklet and personal testimony Assembly Distinctives<ref name=mackay1981>{{Cite book|first=Harold |last=Mackay |title=Assembly Distinctives |publisher=Everyday Publications |location=[[Scarborough, Toronto|Scarborough]], [[Ontario]] |year=1981 |isbn=978-0-88873-049-7 |oclc=15948378}}{{Page needed|date=September 2010}}</ref>, simply refers to what set of beliefs are in-general held by Open some Brethren circles that differentiate them from other Christian assemblies and denominations. Note that these beliefs in and of themselves are not uniquely held by the Open the  Brethren, nor are they part of any belief statement, but they are commonly held so as to bear commenting.
