Changes

In 1845, hymnwriter of ''What A Friend We Have In Jesus'', [[Joseph Medlicott Scriven]] emigrated to Woodstock where he broke bread with friends, this meeting eventually split with other exclusives to become a Raven-Taylor (now PBCC exclusive) meeting which met thru recent years on Mill Street, and another at City Hall, those meetings are not presently open to the general public.

Prior to 1927, there was an open brethren meeting known as [[Woodstock Gospel Hall, ON]] that met first at 704 Dundas St., then in a home by 1947, with a correspondent since 1927 of Ralph E. Tree. That assembly may have folded at that point, or it may have transferred to the home of John Josiek, where it was rebranded in 1966 as [[Park Row Community Chapel, ON]], which folded in 1976.

Still existent Bible Chapel assemblies in Oxford county are in Tavistock & Tillsonburg. There are also continuing Gospel Hall assemblies in West Zorra (Embro) & Burgessville, itinerants from those circles continued ministry at various area fairs into the mid-1990's.
