Edward emigrated from England, presumably he was initially with the state CoE, he was baptized Aug. 8, 1843 at the CoE churchin Coltishall, and joined with the OB, presumably in Norfolk, and was with them when he was sent as a missionary to various tribes of Indians in Ontario, Canada including the Mohawk and Onondaga tribes (both presently with ''Six Nations of the Grand River''), and there's also been talk of work with the Ojibway tribe of Indians in the Bruce Peninsula . Edward became affiliated with the exclusives after meeting JND at a conference in Guelph. All of [[Ontario]] and his first time noted of being gathered was in 1861 children remained with the Guelph assembly when Darby was visitingEB, with exception of Kathleen.
In 1861, Edward was residing in London, England, working as a servant for George Dickinson (b. 1805 St. Paul, Covent Garden, London, Eng. - d. 1861 St. James, St. Pancras, Camden, Eng.) & Rebecca Herring Harmsworth-Dickinson (b. 1815 Southwark, Surrey, Eng.), their daughter Rebecca C. Harmsworth Stewart (b. 1841 London, Eng.) and their niece Mary Ann Johnson (b. 1842 Chelsea, Middlesex, Eng.) In 1871, Edward lived in Toronto, and identified as CoE. Edward and Susanna Sarah Munnings were married on Nov. 25, 1875 at Manchester, Durham RM, ON. Their collective religious denomination read: "A. Christian". Edward was living in Hamilton, and Susanna in Colborne when they married. Thomas Stephen Young (b. 1837 Ramsey, Lanark, ON - d. 1917 Clifford, Wellington, ON) officiated the wedding, a Presbyterian pastor (1871 @ Hullett, Huron, ON; 1881 @ Clifford, ON). Edward Heyhoe & Mary Popay Brunton-Hayhoe (b. 1808 Ashmanhaugh, Norfolk, Eng.). 1891 @ Belleville, ON.* Susanah Sara Susannah Sarah Munnings Hayhoe (b. 1854 Uxbridge, Durham, ON - d. 1921 Toronto, ON), daughter of Benjamin Munnings (1830-1903) & Maria Woodgate Munnings (b. 1828 Necton, Suffolk, Eng. - d. 1918). Benjamin & Maria Munnings were PB as early as 1871, when they resided in Colborne, Huron South, ONand it is known that JND visited their family farm in those days.

Wife (1937 @ Toronto, ON): Dorothy Susands Hayhoe (1911-2004 Toronto, ON), daughter of Ernest William Susands (b. 1879 Frindsbury, Kent, Eng. - d. 1946 Toronto, ON) & Isabella Jane Kimpton Susands (b. 1879 Kent, Eng. - d. 1968 Toronto, ON). Both Arthur & Dorothy were PB at the time of their wedding, but it was officiated by John Gibson "Jock" Inkster, who pastored Knox Presby. Church 1920-1938. Knox later had pastors including Dr. Ian Rennie (1929-2015), prof of Church History @ Regent College & Tyndale who was raised OB in Winnipeg, [[Manitoba|MB]], as well as Dr. Alistair Donald MacLeod (b. 1938).

Wife: Helen Marion Scott Hayhoe (b. 1884 ON; m. 1907 Winnipeg, [[Manitoba|MB]]; d. 1948 Toronto, ON), daughter of Joseph Lounsbury Scott (b. 1854 Norwich, Oxford, ON - d. 1937 Toronto, ON) & Margaret "Maggie" Moore Scott (b. 1855 Norwich, ON - d. 1926 Rome, Floyd, [[Georgia]]). Joseph's 2nd wife (1927 @ Toronto, ON): Emma Augusta Millen Scott (b. 1868 Buffalo, [[New York|N.Y.]] - d. 1951 Toronto, ON), daughter of Thomas Hunter Millen & Mary Celia McNairn Millen. Joseph was PB by 1891, and self-employed in 1901 as a coal merchant in Chatham, Kent, ON.
