Broadview Avenue Gospel Hall was founded in 1891 as an open brethren assembly, meeting initially at 639 Queen St., E. At some juncture, it was meeting at Queen & Boulton. By 1927, it met at 294 Broadview. But there are claims that it has met at 194 Broadview from 1901 to present.
