LOI 1952-11: With Christ: William Baillie: "From Toronto, Ontario, on Sept. 4, 1952, William Baillie departed to be with Christ, having served Him faithfully for more than thirty years. Born in Denarton (sic), [[Scotland]] (near Edinburgh), Aug. 21, 1883, and born again Feb. 18, 1903 in Edgehead, Scotland, Bro. Baillie first met with those gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ alone in the town of Edgehead. A few years later he was commended to the work of the Lord by the Swanwick assembly in Toronto.

Mr. Albert Joyce conducted the funeral services, which were held in Toronto, and which were attended by a large number of the Lord's people from both Canada and the States. Bro. Baillie is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John McMillan, of Kitchener, and Mrs. George Fleming, of Belleville, Ontario; and by two sisters, Mrs. John Kerr, of Pathhead, and Mrs. James Baxter, of Dalkeith, Scotland."

She leaves her husband and two daughters, Mrs. John McMillan, Kitchener, Ontario, and Mrs. George Fleming, Trenton, Ontario. Funeral services were held in the Trull Funeral Home, Danforth, Toronto, February 8 by James Gunn, who spoke appreciated words of comfort and warning to saint and sinner.
