** Lennon Lenon Knox McIlwaine (1898-1984) did evangelistic work in (East Clifford or East Dalhousie) starting about 1932, a few started breaking bread in a home until 1936 when they relocated to Nineveh after two years of evangelistic work there. *** Lennon McIlwaine** @ home of Barnford Owen Kaulbach (b. 1861 Big Lots, Lunenburg, NS - d. 1945 East Dalhousie, Kings, NS), East Clifford OR East Dalhousie (1932/1933)-1935; Evangelistic work starting 1934 in Nineveh, broke bread in 1936. *** son of Stephen Kaulback (b. 1831 Pine Grove, Lunenburg, NS - d. 1919 Bridgewater, Lunenburg, NS) & Jemima Lavinia Lohnes Kaulback (b. 1832 Lunenburg, NS - d. 1898 Summerside, Lunenburg, NS). **** The immigrating ancestors was Johann Martinus Kaulbach (b. 1730 Dierdorf, Germany - d. 1792 Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, NS) & Anna Magdalene Koch Kaulbach (b. 1733 Germany - d. 1813 Dutch, Lunenburg, NS), married in the Dutch Reformed Church in Lunenburg, which Johann may have been one of the earliest founders. Johann Martinus' son ***** In 1870, when the Lunenburg history was written, John Henry Kaulbach (1796-1878) was evidently serving as the first High Sheriff (until his death), and his mother, Anna Barbara Zwicker Kaulbach (b. 1768 - d. 1871 Lunenburg, NS) was the oldest county resident, reaching her hundredth birthday.****** It was noted that she had 119 living descendants (and 44 ones not living)... "she yet retains the use of all her faculties, except that she is in some measure deprived of hearing; recollects the events of her earliest years; and reads and knits without spectacles." On the anniversary of her birth, Feb. 11, 1869 she received more than 100 visitors at her home, "and in the evening, entertained a large number of her relatives. Before the latter separated, prayers were offered by Rev. H.L. Owen with thanks for God's extended goodness to His aged servant." And on her 101st birthday, she "went out for a sleigh drive, and dined with the township Hon. John Creighton". ******* Anna's husband was John Henry Kaulbach, Sr. (1758-1833), a brother of Johann Peter Kaulbach (1755-1839) who is direct ancestor of LunenburgBarnford Kaulbach and his descendants. *** wife: Louise C. Aminela Barkhouse Kaulbach (b. 1872 Beach Meadows, Queens, NS; m. 1896 Kentville, Kings, NS; d. 1927), daughter of George Simeon Barkhouse (b. 1836 New Cornwall, Lunenburg, NS - d. 1911 East Dalhousie, Kings, NS) & Sophia Ann Demone Barkhouse (b. 1840 - d. 1922 Lakeview, Kings, NS).

Lenon was a son of Edward McIlwaine & Margaret Magill McIlwaine. Lenon's wife was Sarah Brownlee Logan McIlwaine (b. 1898 Broughshane or Ballymena, Co. Antrim, N.I. - d. 1993 NS), a tribute by Albert Hull in Truth & Tidings may be found transcribed [https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/128981995 here]. Three children: Margaret McIlwaine Storer (England), Sadie Ann McIlwaine Walmsley (Venezuela), & Robert McIlwaine (Charlottetown). Memorial service for Lenon was at Nineveh Gospel Hall, officiated by Albert Hull & James Walmsley.
