The Dee family was PB as early as 1911, when they emigrated from England, residing initially at Kamloops, Yale & Cariboo, BC. Frank was employed as a carpenter and furrier.

John Holmes was raised in the CoE, and Ruth as a Wesleyan Methodist, but were PB by 1911. Ruth's 2nd husband was William Shelley (b. 1852 Eng. - d. 1940 Troutdale, Multnomah, [[Oregon|OR]]), also PB in 1921. William Shelley may have been a relation of Dave Hunt, a teacher on Bible prophecy.
