*** Hollywood Pines Sales Reported: Miami Realty Brokers Make Five Transfers for $19,800:
**** "Five sales of properties, amounting to $19,800, were reported yesterday by R.L. Conlon of the R.L. Conlon Realty Co., 3811 N.E. Second avenue, as having been closed during the past three weeks. All the property is located in Hollywood Pines, west of Hollywood. The sales included:
***** a six-room bungalow and two lots at the corner of Fifth avenue and Oak Way drive, which was purchased for $11,000 cash by C.J. Frogley, a retired businessman who came to Miami from Toronto, Ontario;

***** and a lot to Paul Christensen for $2,000.
**** Two houses have been completed in this subdivision, representing a total investment of $29,500 for the houses and lots. One is the home of Dr. N.B. Webber, formerly of Detroit. It is a seven-room bungalow at the corner of Third avenue and Oak Way drive, on a lot 104 by 108 feet, and it represents an investment of $11,500. The other is the two-story, 10-room house of Mr. Conlon at the corner of Third avenue and Oak Way drive, representing an investment of $17,000.

**** Charles James Frogley, Jr. (b. 1853 Wheatley, Oxford, [[England|Eng.]] - d. 1945 Hialeah, FL). Emig. 1872; PB by 1881; He setup a bakery, which in 1882 was located at 67 Yonge Street. That address was later the location of the city's very first (and tallest) skyscraper, the Trader's Bank Building, which survives. After retiring, he emigrated about 1920 to Hollywood, and co-founded and hosted the Chapel from his home. His memorial service was at the old 29th Street Gospel Hall in Miami, conducted by R.L. Conlon & Steven Wall.

Martha lived in Toronto in 1891, and Ridgetown, Elgin, ON in 1901 and identified as PB. Her daughter, Mary Frogley Irvine also identified with the PB in 1891, as did Martha's children.

**** His father was a physician in Detroit, and a surgeon during the Civil War.
**** His wife's maternal grandmother's father, William Brewster, served as president of the American Fur Company. He also built the first two ships on Lake Superior, owned two lumber mills, was the first president of the Detroit Board of Trade, and incorporated the Peninsular Bank (in 1849). For many years prior to 1855, William Brewster was considered the wealthiest man in Michigan.
***** The forementioned William Brewster's ancestor was another William Brewster (1566/1567-1644) who was a Mayflower passenger in 1620 from Scrooby, Nottinghamshire, England, and upon reaching the Plymouth Colony, became the senior elder, and Puritan preacher of the colony, as well as eventually an adviser to Gov. William Bradford. He was the first member of the colony to have been university-educated, having studied at Peterhouse in Cambridge, and the first with political and diplomatic experience. His other descendants include Bing Crosby, Nelson Rockefeller, Seth MacFarlane, Katharine Hepburn, Richard Gere, Ted Danson, Sarah Palin, Richard Gere, Julia Child and Seth MacFarlane.
**** His paternal grandmother's direct ancestor (6G), Christopher Wadsworth (1609-1677) emigrated to Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1632 from Yorkshire, England, an early settler of Duxbury, which was allegedly named by Myles Standish who accompanied the Pilgrims on the Mayflower in tribute to his ancestral home in Lancashire, England. Christopher Wadsworth was also a maternal (6G) ancestor of William Wadsworth Longfellow, the renowned American poet.

**** Robert Lyndon Conlon (d. 1969) was regarded as a pioneer resident of Florida, owned a successful realty company, past president of the Hollywood Board of Realtors, a real estate developer in Miami and Hollywood, former director of the Hollywood Bank & Trust, and a member of the Gideons. His wife was Grace Bellinger Conlon. Her eldest brother Charles James Bellinger (b. 1873 NYC) was instrumental in founding "The Fields" which became CMML, he was based at Maplewood Bible Chapel in New Jersey.
