TIG 1951-12-3: "Mrs. Margaret L. Calhoun of Indiana, R.D.1, died in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Glenn H. Moose of Anthony Run Road, near Shelocta today at 6:45 p.m. She was a daughter of Moses B. and Rachel Mangus Miller, and was born July 23, 1874, in Plumcreek Twp., Armstrong County, and spent her early life near Advance, and most of her life on Anthony, Run Road, and was a member of Gospel Hall of Indiana. Mrs. Calhoun is survived by her husband, A. Porter Calhoun, a son, William H., of Shelocta; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother and four sisters: Porter Miller, Mrs. Mary Kerr and Mrs. Abbie Fleming of Shelocta; Mrs. Rose Robinson of Indiana, and Miss Virginia Miller of Shelocta. Friends will be received at Robinson's, Indiana, after 1:00 p.m. Tues., where services will be conducted Wed., Dec. 5 at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Paul P. Plubell, of Philadelphia, will officiate. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana."

TIG 1950-11-13: William Craig, of 624 South avenue, died Sat., Nov. 11, at 5:30 a.m., in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Klabunda, on South avenue. Born on April 9, 1875, in Galston, Scotland, the son of James and Mary Craig. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Park Craig, who passed away in 1946. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Anna Klabunda, of Indiana; one grand-daughter, Mary Ellen Klabunda; and one brother, James Craig, of Scotland. He spent his early life in Scotland, and some years in Pittsburgh, and is a retired employee of McCreary Tire and Rubber Co. Mr. Craig has spent the past 27 years in Indiana, and was a member of the Gospel Hall, Indiana. Friends are being received at Robinson's, Indiana, where funeral services will be conducted Tues., Nov. 14, at 1:30 p.m. Mr. John Fannan will officiate, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery."
TIG 1946-12-30: "Mrs. Elizabeth Park Craig of 624 South Ave., Indiana, died Saturday afternoon at 5:50 o'clock in her late home. She was a daughter of David & Annie Walker Park and was born May 3, 1878 in [[Scotland]]. Before coming to Indiana 28 years ago, the deceased had lived in [[Michigan]] and eight years in Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Gospel Hall, Indiana. She is survived by her husband, William Craig; one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Anna) Klabunda, Indiana; five siblings: John Park, Pittsburgh, and two brothers and three sisters, all in Scotland. One granddaughter, Mary Ellen Klabunda also survives. Friends are being received in the Robinson Funeral Home where services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Mr. John Govan of Detroit, Mich., will officiate. Interment will follow in the Greenwood cemetery."

TIG 1959-2-10: "Alexander Hamilton, aged 93 years, of Homer City, Pa., passed away Tues., Feb. 9, 1959 at 3:20 p.m. in the Indiana Hospital where he had been a patient for the past ten days. Born Dec. 6, 1865 in Scotland, he came to the United States with his parents when a small child. Prior to establishing his home in Homer City in 1925, he resided for some years in Jefferson County and also at Ernest, Pa. Mr. Hamilton was a member of the Indiana Gospel Hall and of Lucerne Local No. 488 of the U.M.W. of A. Before retiring, he had been in the employ of the Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Co., for almost 60 years.
A son of the late James and Janet Muir Hamilton, he is survived by the following children: two sons, David of Homer City and Walter of Ind., Pa., four daughters, Mrs. Janet Pugh, Bogota, N.J.; Mrs. Thomas (Anna) Jones, Homer City; Mrs. Andrew (Jean) Ruddock, Lucerne Mines; Mrs. Delbert (Barbara) Willison, Getty Heights, Ind., Pa., also 5 brothers: David, John, Joseph, James and Richard, all of Reynoldsville, Pa., Mrs. Annie Stockdale, Reynoldsville, Pa., 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7:00 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where services will be conducted Thu., Feb. 12th at 1:30 p.m. Mr. John Walker will officiate. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana."

TID 1938-11-24: Deaths of Past Week: "Frederick Austin Hill, aged 72, a carpenter of 1326 Church street, Indiana, died suddenly at 1 p.m. yesterday while working on the construction of a cabin for Elmer Rising in White township. Death was due to a heart attack, Mr. Hill, born in this county July 23, 1866, a son of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth (Stuller) Hill, was well-known throughout the county. He was a member of the Gospel Hall congregation. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Catherine Hill, and these children: Mrs. C.W. Stewart of Indiana, Ivan Earl Hill of Indiana, R.D.1; Berrelle Shaulis Hill of Indiana; Mrs. Edna May Scott of Westover and Sylvester Hill, at home. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, in charge of the Rev. Mr. Klabunda in the home. Interment followed in Greenwood cemetery."
TIG 1959-11-19: "Mary Catherine Hill, 81, passed away Wed., Nov. 18, in Indiana Hospital. She was born July 5, 1878, in White Twp., and had spent her entire lifetime in this area. She was a member of the Gospel Hall. These children survive: Andrew S. Hill, at home; Mrs. Edna Scott, Ind.; Berrelle S. Hill, Zephyrhills, Fla.; Her husband, Frederick A. Hill, and three children are deceased. Friends will be received at the Bell Funeral Home, S. Seventh St., Indiana, from 7-9 p.m. today and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Sat., Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. with Bro. John Walker of Gospel Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery."

Alexander's father was James Maitland Stewart (b. 1839 West Mahoning Twp., Ind., PA - d. 1932 Ind., PA). Frederick Hill's daughter Margaret's 2nd husband was William Clyde Stewart (b. 1901 Bolivar, Westmoreland, PA - d. 1981 White Twp., Ind., PA), unknown the identity of his father, and with W.C.'s birth in a different county...
