* TIG 1956-12-8: "James Walker of House No. 4, Lucernemines, passed away in the Indiana Hospital at 1:20 a.m. today, Sat., Dec. 8. Born Jan. 27, 1878 in [[Scotland]], he was the son of Mungo and Mary Black Walker. He is survived by his wife, Maria Wilson Walker and seven children: James W., Homer City; Mrs. Herbert (Jane) McAnulty, Homer City; Mrs. Harold F. (Mary) Clark, McKeesport; David Walker, Homer City; Mrs. Sando (Henrietta) Bruno, Homer City; Thomas, Lucernmines; and John at home; 18 grandchildren and one brother, and one sister living in Scotland. Mr. Walker was a member of the Church Gospel Hall, Indiana, and of the U.M.W. of A. Local No. 488, Lucernemines. He had lived in the Homer City area for 36 years. Friends will be received at the Askew Funeral Home, Homer City, after 1 p.m., Sunday, where services will be conducted by Evangelist James Lipke of Cleveland, Ohio, Tues., Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana." * TIG 1998-4-7: "Emily Walker, 91, formerly of Indiana, died Sunday, April 5, 1998, in Longport, [[New Jersey|NJ]]. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the [[Longport Gospel Hall Home, NJ|Gospel Hall Home]] in Longport. Interment will be in the Laurel Memorial Park in Pomona, NJ. Funeral arrangements are being conducted by the Jeffries & Keates Funeral Home in Northfield, NJ."
