St. As per the [https://www.nga.gov/collection/provenance-info.9237.html#biography National Gallery of Art], the Houk Hotel was founded by John Houk, and for the hotel he purchased "an 1885 genre picture of a flax scutching bee" from "naive painter" Linton Park (1826-1906), which is now with the NGA.
