In 1920, some brethren from [[Jackson Gospel Hall, MI|Jackson Gospel Hall]] (OB) in Jackson, [[Michigan]] ventured into the Thumb region of the Lower Peninsula with Gospel meetings which resulted in an open brethren assembly in Sanilac Co., in Deckerville that served as a testimony in the area before folding slightly over a century later. Founding families included Charles & Alice Decker, Harry & Lois Hooper, Mr. Cummings & David Edgar Crary. Later leadership has included William Willis, Greg Trowhill and Barry Brinker. Its last location was on Mills Road.
