In 1873, Rebecca Walton's brother Asa Sawyer married Emily Jane Thompson (b. 1854 ON) in Lindsay, Kawartha Lakes, Victoria, ON, both living in Brock Twp., GTA, Durham, ON. Asa was registered as a "B. Christian", Emily as Wesleyan Methodist, the wedding was officiated by Edward Roberts. A week beforehand, in the same place, Asa & Rebecca's mother Catherine married her 2nd husband, George Wallis (b. 1808 York, [[England|Eng.]]), both registered as CoE. George was a son of Thomas & Mary Wallis. Catherine & George were residing in Kawartha Lakes at the time, in the township of Mariposa.

Albert Edward Leushner (OB) +1897+ (b. 1875 Waubamik, ON - d. 1946 Los Angeles, CA), son of Paul John Friedrich Berthold Leushner (b. 1835 Prusice, Silesia, Germany - d. 1923 Waubamik, ON) & Ann Evans Leushner (b. 1839 Cetlan, Wales - d. 1905 Waubamik, ON). In 1871, the family resided in Essa Twp., Simcoe, ON. Paul was employed as a watchmaker +1871-1885+. In 1881, they lived in Gwillimbury West, Simcoe, ON and affiliated with the Canadian Methodists (which Paul & Ann remained thru 1908). 1885 @ Cookstown, Innisfil, Simcoe, ON.
Albert traveled in 1915 to Buffalo, [[New York]]. Resided in Assiniboia, then Moose Jaw, [[Saskatchewan|SK]] prior to 1922 when he emigrated thru Vancouver, [[British Columbia|BC]] initially to Blaine, Whatcom, [[Washington|WA]] via the Great Northern Railway with intent to settle in Los Angeles, [[California]] where he remained until his death in 1946, employed as a carpenter, never married.
His address in 1928 was with John Jackson Lasure (b. 1864 [[Pennsylvania|PA]]) and his wife Ruth Sarah Barger Ramsey-Lasure (b. 1867 Philadelphia, PA - d. 1941 L.A., CA) at 1022 Mohawk St., who gave witness to Albert's moral character in 1935. John & Ruth had resided in L.A. since 1912, they operated a grocery store in 1920, and a rooming house in 1930, while John was a residential architect, and a mission pastor in 1935. Wilbur "Willie" Augustus Richardson (b. 1871 Racine, [[Wisconsin|WI]] - d. 1945 North Hollywood, L.A., CA) also gave testimony, he was employed as a hotel janitor.
