Karolina Roth Scheidecker (1838-1910)
* Marie "Katie" Katherine Scheidecker Rudy (b. 1875 Dund., Ger. - d. 1945 Portland, Multnomah, [[Oregon|OR]]). In 1910, she was employed in Plainville as a dressmaker. Husband (1893 @ Butler Co., IA, officiated by F.C. Cluir): Johann Georg "George" Rudy (b. 1856 Weiler, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, B-W, Germany - d. 1898 CA), son of Ludwig Rudy (ca. 1825-1885) & Anna Margaretha Spengler Rudy (ca. 1825-1885), married 1851 @ Weiler, Ger.). In 1893, George was listed as a "minister of Gospel". In 1898, he was pastoring St. John in Pleasant Hill until health forced him to resign, and they moved to California.
** Theodora "Dora" Rudy Felten (b. 1894 Plainfield, IA - d. 1990 Grand Rapids, Kent, MI). Husband: Emil Felten (b. 1889 Germany - d. 1959 Sheboygan, WI), brother of William Scheidecker's wife, and of Theodora's sister Matilda's husband. Also a son of John William Felten (b. 1848 Germany - d. 1929 Sheboygan, WI) & Caroline Nordmann Felten (b. 1847 Germany - d. 1914 Sheboygan, WI). Emil & Theodora had ten children.
*** Harold Daniel Felten (b. 1916 Sheboygan, WI - d. 2016 Grand Rapids, MI). Died at [[Rest Haven Homes, MI|Rest Haven]] retirement village, where he had lived many years, twelve days before his hundredth birthday. 1st wife (1941 @ Rockford, IL): Jane Eleanor Harrison Felten (b. 1915 Rockford, IL - d. 1989 La Crosse, WI), daughter of Oskar Harald Harrisson aka Oscar Harold Harrison (b. 1884 Saby, Jönköping, Sweden - d. 1969 Rockford, IL) & Gilberta Jane Hoskins Harrison (b. 1890 Newport, Vermillion, IN; m. 1913 Chicago, IL; d. 1982 Rockford, IL). 2nd wife (1998 @ Rockford, IL): Eunice Hoslett Halloin-Felten (b. 1917 Casco Twp., Kewaunee, WI - d. 2006 Rockford, IL), daughter of John Hoslett (b. 1881 Red River Twp., Kewaunee, WI - d. 1953 Green Bay, Brown, WI) & Alice Fabry Hoslett (b. 1882 Kewaunee Co., WI; m. 1911 Green Bay, WI; d. 1956 Preble, Brown, WI). Harold worked as a cost accountant for his primary occupation, but was also ordained as a Baptist pastor in 1953, and by the PCUSA in 1990, serving churches in Neenah, Green Bay, Omro, and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, as well as Rockford and Roscoe, Illinois as per his [https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/190627042/harold_daniel_felten obit]. '''Notable''' that Harold's 2nd wife's maternal grandparents were Emil Fabry (1860-1936 Red River Twp., Kewaunee, WI) & Mary Hanquet Fabry (b. 1864 Luxemburg Twp., Kewaunee, WI - d. 1942 Red River Twp., Kewaunee, WI) who were married in a PB assembly on Feb. 4, 1882 located in Lincoln Twp., Kewaunee, WI.
*** Lawrence Felten (1926-'''2020''' Sheboygan, WI) who served as a city clerk 24 years, and in his love for music co-founded at least two musical ministry groups ("Men of Harmony" & "King's Delegates Quartet"), and was active with [https://e-free-family.com/ Sheboygan E-Free]. Lawrence's wife was Mary Ann Verlare Felten, married 1956 at Broadway Avenue Gospel Chapel in Sheboygan.
** Raymond Arthur "Ray" Felten (b. 1922 Sheboygan, WI - d. 2012 Grand Rapids, MI). Wife (1951): Margaret H. Felten (1928-2016). Ray sang and recorded albums with The Melody Four Quartet & Sixteen Singing Men for many years. Director of Counseling @ Radio Bible Class which he served even part-time until he was aged 85. He was "Mr. Ray" on a weekly Bible story telecast "Stories of the King" on WZZM. Died at Rest Haven, memorial at [https://fhbc.church/ Forest Hills Bible Chapel] (OB).
** Jonathan George Rudy (b. 1896 Plainfield, IA - d. 1986 Los Angeles, CA). Nicknamed "Dannie" in 1900. Wife (1925 @ Portland, OR): Ivy Dorothy M. Blessley Rudy (b. 1896 Lewisham, Kent, Eng. - d. 1985 Alhambra, L.A., CA), daughter of Charles John Blessley (b. 1856 Dorking, Surrey, Eng. - d. 1923 Minneapolis, MN) & Emilie Naomi Agate Blessley (b. 1869 Portsmouth, Hampshire, Eng.; emig. 1903; d. 1942 Minneapolis, MN). In 1920, Dorothy was a schoolteacher in Minneapolis. In 1930, John & Dorothy lived in Montebello, L.A., CA and John was employed as an inspector for a tire company. By 1942, John was employed for the Vard Mechanical Laboratory, in Pasadena (where the family moved), which founded by Vard Beecher Wallace (1901-1988) of Sierra Madre, CA and Paul H. Ford. The company supplied drafting machines to aircraft engineers including Allen Lockheed & Jack Northrop, as per [https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/nmah_694136 National Museum of American History]. F.P. Carter of East Los Angeles was a reference on John's draft card.
** Mathilda Rudy Felten (b. 1897 Plainfield, IA - d. 1965 Sheboygan, WI). Husband: William Felten (b. 1897 - d. 1985 Sheboygan, WI), son of John William Felten (b. 1848 Germany - d. 1929 Sheboygan, WI) & Caroline Nordmann Felten (b. 1847 Germany - d. 1914 Sheboygan, WI). William Felten's sister Martha married Matilda's mother's youngest brother William Scheidecker (1880-1945) in the below sketch. Also, William Felten's brother Emil married Matilda's sister Theodora.
