=DGH early history=
Some unnamed itinerants traveled thru Deseronto in 1898, and the Wager family made a profession of faith, and an assembly was planted, which continues today as Deseronto Gospel Hall. This assembly and nearby [[Picton Gospel Hall, ON|Picton Gospel Hall]] held their first joint annual conference in May of 1952 at the Legion Hall, with a prayer meeting at the assembly, then on St. George St.
