* L&L 1948-12: Stanley Ledyard, Bronson, Branch, Coldwater micro, MI: "During October I gave help to Brookston, Logansport and Butler, Indiana and Sturgis, Michigan. Last week-end I was with the Melvina meeting in Chicago where I spoke at the funeral of Joseph Singer. The large Chapel was well filled and we are sure many unsaved ones heard the way of life."

* L&L 1949-4: Stanley Ledyard, R.R.2, Burr Oak, St. Joseph, Sturgis micro, [[Michigan|MI]]: "I was privileged to minister God's Word recently in assemblies at Logansport, [[Indiana]], and in the Melvina and [[Norwood Gospel Chapel, IL|Irving Park]] assemblies in Chicago. I go next to Knox, Indiana." Curious that Stanley Ledyard twice referenced the Melvina assembly as being in Chicago... as it's 211 miles from there!
