<strong class="selflink">Alvin Trauger Landes</strong> was born February 6, 1926 in Pipersville, PA the son of [[Oliver Moyer Landes]] and Annie M. Trauger Landes (b. 1885) who were married on Nov. 1, 1902 in Bucks, PA. At some juncture, the family left the Mennonite community for the Brethren Assembly at Pipersville, then for [[Grace Gospel Chapel, Plumsteadville, PA]] where they raised their thirteen children. See Oliver's bio for a list of Alvin's siblings.
Alvin was employed as a glazer and glass installer for 35 years until retiring. Alvin married Mary Cressman Charles and they attended Grace Gospel Chapel for many years before joining the First Methodist Church of Perkasie. Mary was born Aug. 27, 1925 and died Feb. 1, 2016. Alvin died January 29, 2017. They had three children:
