Will Blackwell (1900-1952) was a timberman contractor in the coal mining industry, as well as an employee of [https://drummondco.com/our-products/abc-coke/ ABC Coke] (currently the largest merchant producer of foundry coke in the U.S.) and his wife Gertrude (1902-1972) worked many years as a seamstress for the [https://www.libertybibs.com/about-liberty.html Liberty Trouser Co.] (now Liberty Bibs). Church-wise, Will & Gertrude were CoC, at least in their latter years.
Milton Raleigh Morse (1892-1979) was a retired machinist for Goodyear Aerospace in Akron, and later a member of Euclid UMC in St. Petersburg, FL. He was a descendant of Samuel Morse (b. 1585 Essex, [[England]] - d. 1654 Medfield, Norfolk, [[Massachusetts|MA]]) who emigrated to the U.S. in 1635.
As per his [https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/the-woodlands-tx/james-blackwell-11558883 obit], Jim served with the Navy during WWII, then graduated with honors from the [https://www.ua.edu/ Univ. of Alabama] with a degree in chemical engineering, then worked for [https://corporate.goodyear.com/us/en.html Goodyear Tire & Rubber] in Akron, [[Ohio]] where he met Jeanne. Jim & Jeanne lived in Ohio, Alabama, [[South Carolina]] and Texas.
