==History==
In 1866, Jule Calame bought a plot of 40 acres and settled in Nokomis, which is when it is presumed a meeting was started, with him as correspondent. His brother, Edward Calame, purchased 40 acres and also settled in Nokomis around 1871, and was listed as correspondent by 1878 (the earliest TW address book available). It is believed that after 1911, the group merged with [[Witt Meeting Room, IL]] where they stayed.
However, there was a Mrs. Gettys Graden acting as a correspondent of a meeting point for visiting preachers from 1917-1927. And from 1933-1951, there are correspondents listed for Nokomis, but it is believed that they were primarily fellowshipping at Witt, as Virginia Schewe (great-granddaughter of Edward Calame) does not recall a meeting in her childhood (b. 1945) at Nokomis.
This assembly was birthed in the original Exclusives that stayed with Darby, and eventually became part of the Tunbridge Wells division of 1909 that seceded in England from the Darbyites.
