* Walter Potter '''1868-1937''' (b. 1847 Coggeshall, Essex, [[England|Eng.]]; emig. 1866; d. 1937 Chicago, IL), son of Alfred Potter (b. 1821 Great Coggeshall, Eng. - d. 1895 Chelmsford, Eng.) & Julia Higham Potter (b. 1827 Great Totham, Eng.; m. 1845 Witham, Essex, Eng.; d. 1886 Chelmsford, Eng.). Alfred was employed in 1850 as a laborer for a dealer of wool, the family resided in Ingatestone, Chelmsford. Walter was employed in 1880 for a custom boot & shoe shop, and residing at 241 W. Erie St. Itinerant evangelist. He may have been part of a brief division, but returned. Walter had a sister named Mrs. Julia Bamrood, 11 St. Johns Rd., Chelmsford, Eng.

In 1900, Endre owned a bakery. Marie's mother died at Walter & Marie's home. Erie, and previously next door neighbors.
