In 1930The Cellier family goes back in Nods, Bern, Louis Sr[[Switzerland]] several generations to at least 1330 where their ancestor Jehan Tschiffeli was born. His father, Hans, was employed born in Sursee, and further back ancestry (Cipelli or Ciphelli) originated in [[Italy]], as an inspector at a silk millper [https://cellier.org/Cellier_Genealogy/Cellier_Genealogy.html Cellier. The family lived org], which also documents information on those who were clock and watchmakers in Aubonnethe 18th century. It is also worth noting that the earliest known Cellier of this line was Jehan Junod dit Cellier (b. 1480 Nods, VaudSw.), Switzerland others in 1912 when they emigrated to the U.SPB have done research on the Junod family.
In 1930, Louis Sr. was employed as an inspector at a silk mill. He lived in Aubonne, Vaud, Sw., as well as Neuchatel, in 1912 when he emigrated to the U.S. In 1919, he was residing in Knoxville, TN at the Central YMCA. Louis later retired in 1950 from [https://www.loc.gov/resource/gsc.5a19931/ Interchemical Corp.] in Hawthorne, NJ. Louis resided in the Paterson area for 40 years, though he died in Switzerland. They lived in Fair Lawn 1930-1948, and Totowa 1946-1948+. Lucie's obit in 1948 reported that she was in fellowship with the "Gospel Hall in Fair Lawn", while the 1946 AAB shows assemblies in Passaic & Paterson. Louis Jr. resided in Ho-Ho-Kus, Bergen, NJ before moving about 1955 to Paramus in the same county. Aimé's 1st wife was Adèle Élisa Naine Cellier (1853-1877 Nods, Sw.), who died five months after their wedding in 1877.
