*** 1942: Charles Van Ryn of Muskegon, MI preached a Sunday evening on a cure for leprosy, and another on the book of Hebrews.
*** 1945: Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Stewart of Grand Rapids conducted VBS, then 1948 he was a special speaker, then of Trenton, NJ. Also +1945-1955+, the assembly had a Sunday morning (8:30-9:00am) program on WHBY. Abe H. Hartsema spoke here also in 1945, as well as in Sheboygan.*** 1946: LOI: [[Alfred Perks Gibbs]], then of Chicago, held "two weeks of well attended meetings in 'The Pilgrim's Progress'. The hall was filled each night in spite of the snow, and there seemed to be good interest in the Word."*** 1947: Lyn Carey (from Appleton) and Bro. Bastow spoke at a special welcome-home at the Sheboygan assembly for all nine boys who had served in WWII, joined by brethren from Lake Geneva & Appleton. Dan Dunnett of Lake Geneva later visited Appleton, Brodhead & Sheboygan on his way to Oklahoma City, speaking on his model of the tabernacle.*** 1948: August Van Ryn spoke a week at Appleton.
*** 1955: Evangelist William Brown of Fort Wayne, IN.
*** 1960: Wisconsin Wire Works (founded by John D. Watson, succeeded by his son James until his retirement in 1969) offered in LOI a "free week" at summer camp for the winner of a contest submitting the best craft project for their golden wire mesh. *** 1961: James Watson posted in LOI seeking fellowship for a young man from the assembly in Appleton who was stationed in Guam, and received three letters in two days offering names. Dr. William Gibson posted in the same magazine looking for a fellow optometrist to join his practice.*** 1962: special speaker: Ken Campbell; Bus offered to pick up children for S.S.
*** 1964: Dr. William Gibson was the adult S.S. teacher, Cyril Brooks was special speaker.
*** 1966: Abe Hartsema visited the Earl Laabs family in Apache Junction, AZ who were formerly from Appleton.
*** 1967: Annual conference in November expected Welcome Detweiler of Greensboro, N.C. & Gavin Hamilton of Oak Park, IL. *** 1965-1968: James Watson was correspondent for Community Gospel Chapel in Kaukauna, WI. That same year, ABC commended Mr. & Mrs. William Gibson to work in Jamaica, serving under a previous commendation since 1964. It sponsored a "Wisconsin Women's Missionary Conference" in April of that year.
