Theodore Howell Jackson (1889-1971) retired to Tampa 1959-1971 from the Lord's work, and had a brother in Ocala, Florida named Walker Lee Jackson. He pastored Cooper Street Baptist in Atlanta for a time, prior to joining the Brethren. Judge John D. Humphries once attended Howell's church, which inspired him to be invited to officiate the wedding in 1935 in the judge's office for Howell and Bannie. Howell was previously married in 1909 to Mary Bethany "Maybeth" Todd Jackson (b. 1887 GA - d. 1935 Atlanta, GA), daughter of Alsa F. Todd (b. 1857 Oak Ridge, Meriwether, GA - d. 1932 Atlanta, GA) & Mollie E. Pritchett Todd (b. 1861 Henry Co., GA - d. 1934 Atlanta, GA). C.H. Mount officiated Mollie's memorial.
Howell's father, James Franklin "Frank" Jackson (1854-1933) was a preacher. His g-g-grandfather, Hartwell Jackson, Sr. (b. 1777 NC - d. 1859 Watkinsville, Oconee, GA) was also a preacher. Hartwell's father was Corp. Drury Wyche Jackson (b. 1745 Brunswick Co., VA - d. 1794 Wilkes Co., GA), who fought in the Revolutionary War with Slaughter's Co. 8 Virginia Regt. They were direct descendants of Lt. John Jackson II (b. 1639 London, Eng. - d. 1675 Newton, MA) who was a g-g-grandfather to President Andrew Jackson, and moved from London to Exeter, Devon, England before emigrating in late 1639 to the U.S. on the ''Blessing''.
Bannie (1889-1975), Howell's 2nd was married first in 1922 in Atlanta to Charles Alexander Henderson (b. 1870 Geneseo, Henry, IL - d. 1929 Atlanta, GA), son of Robert Henderson (b. 1829 Lawrenceburg, Dearborn, [[Indiana|IN]] - d. 1886 Geneseo, IL) & Rebecca Morton Henderson (b. 1840 Middletown, Butler, [[Ohio|OH]]; m. 1869 Adams Co., IL; d. 1928 Atlanta, GA).
Robert Henderson held the position of Commissioner of Highways in his township in Henry Co., Illinois, and he and his wife were members of the Methodist Episcopal denom. The wedding for Bannie and Charles was officiated by W.J.D. Upshaw. Bannie was employed 1920-1922 as secretary and treasurer of the Wilson Music Co. Charles Henderson was a musician in Atlanta, as well as an optometrist with the A.K. Hawkes Optical Co., and was in failing health several years before he died in 1929. His memorial was conducted by J.W. Caldwell & R.C. Huston.
Bannie and her first husband Charles had one daughter together, Charlotte Henderson Jacobson (b. 1923 Atlanta, GA - d. 2012 Tampa, FL). Husband: William "Bill" Ronald Jacobson (b. 1912 Minneapolis, Hennepin, [[Minnesota|MN]] - d. 2002 Tampa, FL), son of Ove Andreas "Andrew" Jakobsen (b. 1885 Lillehammer, Norway - 1972 Anoka Co., MN) & Mary Skaaden Jacobson (b. 1889 Ringebu, Norway - d. 1975 Fridley, Anoka, MN).
Frank was employed +1940-1950+ as a salesman with [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Typewriter_Company Royal Typewriter Co.] at 839-17th St., Hill Bldg., D.C., which exclusively manufactured war items during WWII, including machine guns, rifles, bullets, propellers, etc. In the mid-1990's, Frank & Eleanor retired to California, where they were in fellowship with the assembly in Fullerton. After Frank's death, Eleanor spent her remaining years with the assembly in Tehachapi. Also see the Gordon family.
