At Round Lake the response is not so great, the majority of the people are Catholic, and the rest are Church of England folk. I would appreciate the prayers of the saints for guidance in this field as there are so many places where the Word is needed that it is hard to know where to go next.
Owenbrook is one of many little settlements in the Northern part of Ontario and I received very definite leading from the Lord in coming up here. Have only been here three weeks, but even in that short time, He has shown us blessing, four
having professed salvation. The people are very poor, but are interested in the Word, and as near as we can find out, the unadulterated gospel has never been preached here. At present Brother Butcher is with me, but is returning to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyndale_University Toronto Bible College] in September.
If any one anyone has lantern slides which they are not using, they would be appreciated. We have a fairly complete set on the “Life of Christ,” but that is all. Please pray that I may be able to remain here."
