This is the assembly where David Octavius Calderhead first met with when he arrived from Scotland in 1930. His wife Agnes joined him there in 1931. They moved in the early 1930's to Asheville, North Carolina, the assembly there commended him to the Lord's work, and he moved in 1940 to Mansfield Gospel Hall in Ohio where he was based for the remainder of his ministry. When MGH rebranded in 1948 as Lincoln Heights Gospel Chapel, he started commuting to Akron Gospel Hall until the re-planting of [[Mansfield Gospel Hall, OH|Mansfield Gospel Hall] about 1959, and he and his wife Agnes were involved from the beginning of that meeting that is going today.
