Stedfast in the faith unto the end."
 
T&T 1958-12: With Christ: York, NY: "On Oct. 23rd, Joseph Ferris went home in his 89th year. He was in fellowship in the assemblies for over 60 years in Pittsburg, Rochester and later in York, and was steadfast to the end. The funeral was taken by L.E. McBain."

** Mary Ferris Klehammer (b. 1900 Pgh., PA - d. 1968 Brighton, Monroe, Roch. metro, NY). Husband (1924 @ Monroe Co., NY): Arthur J. Klehammer. In 1924, Arthur & Mary were both employed with the Rochester Telephone Co., Mary was an operator. Their wedding was officiated by [https://www.newspapers.com/image/841662891 Dr. Paul Stratton] (b. 1876 Millville, Cumberland, NJ - d. 1942 Holley, Orleans, NY), pastor of [https://www.solidrocchurch.org/ Brighton Presby.] and [https://rocwiki.org/Westminster_Presbyterian_Church Westminster Presby.], both in Rochester. Dr. Stratton died in 1942 of a heart attack while polishing his car, at the time (1935-1942) pastoring at [https://www.facebook.com/people/First-Presbyterian-of-Holley/61567489432334/?_rdr First Presby. of Holley].
