In the Dec. 1979 issue of [[Letters of Interest]], in the section on "Notes from Widows of the Lord's Servants", Mrs. Joe Nieboer writes, "The Lord has been blessing our assembly here in the town of Greece, a suburb of Rochester. It is such a joy to see some of the young men who started in our handcraft classes 12 years ago, when they were 9 years old, now actively winning others to the Lord. My son David, 38, in [[California#Los Angeles|Los Angeles]], has lung cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. Our times are in the Lord's hands and we wish them there."
