Strawberry Gospel Hall was an open brethren assembly at Patience Lake in the Saskatoon metro of [[Saskatchewan]] that existed from +1927-1933+, founded by J.W. Bates (b. 1853 - d. 1933 Patience Lake, SK). The 1927 AAB calls it "Dean Lake".

1933-6-23 Saskatoon, SK: "Large numbers of friends, from city and country, attended the funeral yesterday of J.W. Bates, 80-year-old evangelist of Saskatoon and Patience Lake, held from Strawberry Gospel Hall, the church he built with his own hands, at Patience Lake. Mr. Bates died Tuesday at the home of his son, W.J. Bates, at Patience Lake. Burial took place in the church yard. Rev. D.R. Aikenhead conducted the service, held in the open air because of the numbers present, and praised Mr. Bates for his untiring work in the cause of Christianity. Mrs. A.A. Thompson of 335 Fourth St., and Mrs. H.J. Beck of Patience Lake are daughters. Two other sons also survive, Captain P.D. Bates, of Halifax, N.S., and William J. Bates, of Radlett, Herts., England."
