Not found a Brethren connection yet, but Wallie Amos "W.A." Criswell, was born in Eldorado, OK in 1909, to Wallie Amos & Anna (Currie) Criswell. Childhood spent in North Texas. Served two terms as president of the Southern Baptist Convention, and referred to by supporters as one of the greatest 20th century expository preachers.
The 1904 assembly address book indicates there was an a brethren assembly in Eldorado. No further info.
